The 34th annual conference will be held February 25-27, 2009 at the Sheraton Oceanfront Hotel in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
The full conference registration fee is $100.00 and includes all breaks, Suppliers’ Social, Biting Time and the Lunch Banquet on Thursday afternoon. Companion and one-day registrations are also available. Registrations should be submitted by February 11, 2009. Registrations received after this date must contain a $10.00 late fee. If the late fee is not included in such registrations, it will be assessed for payment at check-in registration. Payment must be by cash, check, or money order. Credit cards are not accepted.

* Mid-Atlantic Mosquito Control Association (MAMCA) Outstanding Graduate Student Award *
The MAMCA’s Outstanding Graduate Student Award is presented by the association to recognize the accomplishments and contributions of a graduate student pursuing a degree relating to mosquito control or systematics, vector-borne disease, or related discipline that the Association deems appropriate. The award recipient must be a resident of one of MAMCA’s eight member states or must be attending a school of higher learning in one of MAMCA’s eight member states.
The award recipient will be an invited guest of the Association and will present their research project to the Association at the annual conference. MAMCA will provide limited compensation for hotel accommodations, costs associated with the annual meeting registration, and ground transportation expenses. A $500.00 award will also be presented to the recipient at the annual conference. The funding for this award is made possible through the generous financial contributions of Adapco Inc, Summit Chemical and Univar USA.
