The 38th annual conference will be held March 13-15, 2013 at the Courtyard Columbia Downtown, 630 Assembly Street, Columbia, SC 29201. Conference room rates at the Courtyard Columbia Downtown are $85.00/night. Rooms can be reserved by calling 1-803-799-7800. When calling, you must mention that you are with a group - the Mid-Atlantic Mosquito Control Association - in order to receive the conference rate.

* Mid-Atlantic Mosquito Control Association (MAMCA) Outstanding Student Award *
The MAMCA’s Outstanding Student Award is presented by the association to recognize the accomplishments and contributions of a college student pursuing a degree relating to mosquito control or systematics, vector-borne disease, or related discipline that the Association deems appropriate. The award recipient must be a resident of one of MAMCA’s eight member states or must be attending a school of higher learning in one of MAMCA’s eight member states.
The award recipient will be an invited guest of the Association and will present their research project to the Association at the annual conference. MAMCA will provide limited compensation for hotel accommodations; costs associated with the annual meeting registration and ground transportation expenses. A $500.00 award will also be presented to the recipient at the annual conference. The funding for this award is made possible through the generous financial contributions of Adapco Inc., Summit Chemical, and Univar USA.
Individuals may nominate themselves. The recipient must attend and present at the 37th Annual Conference of the Mid-Atlantic Mosquito Control Association in Gettysburg, PA on February 21-23, 2012 to receive this award.
